These two therapy pools designed by USAquatics are located in senior housing/assisted living facilities in Minnesota. In each design, the pool has both a ramp and stairs for easy entrance into the pool. The ramps are lined with stainless steel railings to assist residents down the transition.
Adjacent to the therapy pools are hot water spas that have a raised elevation to meet ADA compliance, which acts as an easy transfer ledge. This feature has been widely used by USAquatics for ADA compatibility before the current interpretations of the ADA law came into practice, demonstrating our tendency to lead rather than follow.
