USAquatics, Inc. was hired by ARY Architects to provide aquatic design and engineering for the Pioneer Ridge Middle School indoor lap pool and diving well. The school district passed its referendum in November 2015 providing a number of opportunities for District 112 including a new elementary school, sports dome and a 21,000 square foot addition to its middle school for a brand new pool facility.
Collaboration between USAquatics’ design team and the architects and owners resulted in a final design that included an 8-lane 25-yard lap pool with starting blocks for competitive swimming and a separate diving well with two 1-meter diving boards and an alternate for a 3-meter diving board.
This project includes the installation of a Defender regenerative media filter for both the pool and the diving well.
