USAquatics was hired by Cuningham Group to provide aquatic design and engineering for a new spa and pool at Grand Casino Hinckley Hotel in Hinkley, Minnesota. The previous pool was accessible only from the hotel through the casino, which was not ideal. The new pool is now in its own building that is attached to the hotel.
The natatorium features an L-shape concrete pool with an area of 1,200 sq. ft. and new irregular shaped raised concrete spa with 9 hydro therapy fitting and an area of 130 sq. ft.
After "3,000 tons of dirt, 4,000 masonry blocks, and 6,000 tiny colorful tiles," the pool was completed at Grand Casino Hinckley June 29th, 2017.
