Therapy IntroTherapy Pools "Who will be using the pool" is the first question that should be asked when designing a therapy pool. Designs need to take in to consideration the water termperature, as they normally need to be at a constant higher temperature than a normal pool. Access to the pool, and access while in the pool are very important design consideration as they are normally used for rehabilitation.
North Country Regional Hospital - Bemidji, MN USAquatics designed this 2005 winner of, Aquatics International, Dream Facility-Therapy Pool. This therapy pool is the first of its kind, with a ceiling mounted lift that can go anywhere in the room. Special consideration was given to the design of the access in and out of the pool.
