Innovators of Green Technology

We are innovators of green technology for aquatics. Our extensive knowledge comes from the involvement with energy companies during performance contracting in schools, community centers and aquatic facilities. We analyze existing facilities and determine equipment changes with short payback scenarios due to lower operating costs.

USAquatics, Inc. is a leader in aquatic design and consulting and our feasibility studies are highly regarded in the industry.  If you are looking for a quality feasibility study and require strong attention to business models, environmental impact, aquatic features, funding, operations and total vision - look no further.

USAquatics Study Process

If you are looking for a quality feasibility study and require strong attention to business models, environmental impact, aquatic features, funding, operations and total vision - look no further. Our feasibility studies are highly regarded in the industry. USAquatics, Inc. has developed a methodized process aimed at developing the goals, expectations and vision of a proposed aquatic facility. This process will evaluate an existing and/or potential facility and any neighboring aquatic venues.

During the execution, the process evaluates the aquatic needs and wants of the community the facility will serve; involving the community and stakeholders in the development team. Deliverables of the process include a final report that embodies the results of the entire process.

Team Dynamic

The Aquatic Committee is a team, of which USAquatics is a managing member. While USAquatics will guide and manage the process and the work; USAquatics is not, and should not, be at the center of the process.  The vision is owned by the stakeholders. When the process is complete, the result is to be a product of the needs, wants and personality of the stakeholders.

Feedback and Follow-Through

At the end of each step, it is important to look at the results of the process. These “mini-deliverables” are shared with the committee for feedback and follow through. Through this process we are able to keep the team involved in all the communication, coordination and collaboration to guarantee success.

Goals & Objectives

Project needs, goals and objectives are important to understand. The process seeks to identify this purpose early on to guide the process as it is carried out. We want to stress plan, program, design and implement in that order and ask the following questions:

  1. Plan your facility. What is it used for? How much is it used? Who uses it? What are the goals of the facility and what is supportable?
  2. Program the facility based on the plan. This is before any design takes place. Based on the questions asked in the first step you should be able to write an aquatics program that meets the needs, wants and other goals of the facility. From here, you can draw a budget.
  3. Now it is time to design a facility, that meets the requirements of the first two steps. The facility should fit the budget and the planning/programming laid out. If the design exceeds the budget, decide if the budget or program needs to be adjusted and redesign. Always return to step one and work back up from there.
  4. Now that you have a plan, a program and a design you are ready to implement. This is where you hire your design experts (if you have not already hired them to help with the previous steps), gather financing and make the final go/no go decision.
