In an effort to replace the cities antiquated aquatic amenities, a study was done to determine community needs and desires. The portion of the study related to the outdoor pool was completed and the new state of the art family aquatic center was opened in the spring of 2004.
Opened in June of 2006, this aquatic facility has a variety of attractions to amuse all ages. To save on costs, this design has a zero-depth entry pool and the lap pool connected with a floating log walk between them.
